Bond Selection for Production Grinding
Vitrified bonds are specifically designed to provide extremely strong adhesion to cBN grain through chemical bonding, enabling G-ratio (volume ratio of stock removed to wheel wear) values of 10,000 or more. Metal bonds offer excellent wear resistance and form-holding ability.
Vitrified bond grinding wheels will produce a lot of heat in the process of high load during dry grinding. Using the cooling fluid with vitrified grinding wheel the effect is more outstanding. The diameter range is 10 ~ 900mm; the thickness range is 3 ~ 300 mm; the grit size range is 80 ~ 5000#.
